About Chapter VIII

Chapter VIII: Veterinary Inclusion and Intersectionality Initiative is a nonprofit organization which was founded in 2020 to foster a representative environment in the veterinary profession through advocacy, art, and accessibility. The organization aims to reach people who belong to multiple underrepresented or marginalized groups based on race, ethnicity, disability, class, gender, and sexuality.

We seek to create access to care and access to education opportunities for underrepresented communities.

Why Believe in Chapter VIII

Chapter VIII is here to increase engagement of underrepresented groups within veterinary education and clinical care by building a more representative and inclusive community of veterinary professionals, which will positively impact the quality of service to the community.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Chapter VIII is an officially incorporated nonprofit organization and is seeking financial support to expand our inclusive education and accessible care opportunities.
